Today was the first time (and I’m sure not the last time) that Alethea made a mess while I was distracted doing other things. We were together in her room, I was folding/sorting/organizing her clothes since we just got out all of her 12 month stuff. She was playing with some toys that I’d gotten out for her, or at least that’s what I thought she was doing. Next thing, I look over and this is what I see:
Notice all the books from the lower shelf strewn about, the bookend sitting askew and the pair of overalls she swiped from the laundry carelessly tossed over her back.
Needless to say, she was quite proud of herself:
Notice the overalls – still on her back!
TOO CUTE! I love how smiley she is! What a happy baby!
And so it starts. Start working NOW to teach her how to “pick up”. She looks so proud of herself too.
Looks like Demolition 101. I’m sure she will get to higher levels before long and become quite advanced!
Mmm…hate to break it to you, Elise, but that is not a mess. That is a couple things out of their proper place. Take it from someone who knows.
She does look proud, though.
You say potayeto I say potahto. Maybe it’s just a small mess. :-)
You say “pohtahto,” Roman says “Mr Matato Head.”
Elise, that’s not a mess, that’s the calm before the storm.
