On Monday Peter and I cleaned out our Laundry/Mud Room and organized the closet. Here’s the before pic:

Sorry to everyone who reads this blog strictly for cute baby pictures, but I had to post about this because not only do I now have an ironing station, a place to put dirty kitchen towels and a spot for empty laundry baskets, but this is also the first time since we moved in that the entire first floor of our house has been clean and organized. I am feeling tired, but triumphant!

We went through our coats and put some in the garage sale pile and the rest got moved into our front hall closet. Also, there actually still is a small hanging bar on the far right of the newly organized mud room closet. We figured that since we have another closet and we have hooks on the mud room wall for every day coats, we didn’t need much hanging space in the mud room closet. I’d be happy to help you plan our your laundry space, but you’ll have to ask Peter about the actual install.
